Job summary

The Australian Department of Defence – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Senior Project Controls Subject Matter Expert to act as the technical authority for project controls and scheduling across defence programs. You will lead governance of scheduling methodologies and drive capability uplift through training, coaching and mentoring of staff.

• Serve as the organisation’s technical authority for Project Controls, providing expert advice and solving scheduling challenges.
• Build capability through training, coaching and mentoring across the workforce.
• Develop and govern scheduling methodologies, standards and guidance for consistency.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and governance of project scheduling capability, ensuring consistent application across Defence projects.
• Provide senior leadership for SC2R, SCRAM and Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and independent schedule assessments.
• Mentor Commonwealth personnel to build a sustainable pool of subject matter experts.
