The Senior Project Controls Subject Matter Experts are the organisation’s technical authority for Project Controls, providing expert advice, applying contemporary best practice, and resolving complex scheduling challenges across Defence projects and programs. The roles support informed decision making through trusted technical guidance, assurance and stakeholder engagement.

The team focuses on capability program delivery, governance, and independent assurance services to support defence-wide

Qualifications

• Experience leading project controls across large programs.
• Ability to implement standards, templates and guidance for scheduling.
• Strong ability to mentor and build capability within teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and governance of project scheduling capability and guidance.
• Provide assurance for SC2R, SCRAM and IBR activities.
• Deliver independent assessments of schedule quality, risk and delivery confidence.
• Mentor Commonwealth personnel to grow a sustainable pool of subject matter experts.
