Job summary

Turner & Townsend Australia seeks an experienced Project Controls/PM leader in Adelaide to oversee cost control, scheduling and reporting on large, complex programs in energy and natural resources. You will coordinate across departments and interface with clients and consultants to ensure project success.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years’ experience, with strong analytical, leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years in project controls or management.
• Experience delivering large, complex projects.
• Proficient in Primavera or MS Project.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational and technical diagnosis of client needs.
• Support client’s organisation and senior management in major projects delivery.
• Contribute to submissions, fee bidding, budgeting and planning.
• Develop and implement project controls tools and processes.
• Oversee project cost management, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Lead scheduling activities and track milestones.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present project performance reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance and procurement.
• Monitor and allocate project resources efficiently.
• Drive continuous improvement in project services processes.
• Mentor and lead a team of project services professionals.
