Job summary

Kent in Australia is seeking a Projects Control Manager to lead cost, schedule, risk and reporting across our energy projects. You will head the Project Controls Team and ensure real-time visibility to pro-actively address issues.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of Project Controls leadership within Oil & Gas EPC settings, with experience in cost control, planning, and risk management. The company offers hybrid work and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of Project Controls Leadership in Oil & Gas.
• Experience in EPC organisations in O&G for major projects.
• Substantial experience in Cost Control, Change Management, Planning, Progress Measurement, Risk Management, and Estimating.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Project Controls functions (cost control, planning/scheduling, progress, risk management, change, gate reviews and reporting).
• Establish the Project Controls Plan per contract/PEP and communicate to stakeholders.
• Ensure Project Controls Team is setup with clear roles and responsibilities.
• Provide schedule and financial visibility to the Project Team and take corrective actions.
• Manage client invoicing as per contract requirements.
• Deliver reporting/progress metrics/forecast metrics in line with contract/PEP.
• Coordinate with PM, Change Manager, Contract Manager and Interface Manager.
• Manage Project Risk and Opportunities process and contingencies.
• Manage Gate Review process on the Project.
• Assist in coordinating engineering, procurement and construction activities.
• Participate in bids preparation.
