Job summary

Georgiou Group, now proudly part of STRABAG SE, is delivering disaster recovery works on a major Australian highway project with FIFO and accommodation options for SEQ residents.

You will join a team delivering region-shaping civil works across brownfield sites, focusing on collaboration, quality, and timely delivery. The role offers varied responsibilities, extensive documentation tasks, and a pathway to grow within a leading construction group.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the collation and preparation of complex documents that include financial, statistical and commercial material.
• Raises purchase orders and processes invoices in a timely manner.
• Source quotes and prepare evaluation spread sheets as required.
• Implementation of document control measures for incoming correspondence.
• Provides clerical/administrative support and personal assistance to the Engineering team including all correspondence, document control, filing and assisting with the QA documentation.
• Maintain Approved Vendor and Subcontractor Lists.
• Participates in the site set up, included but not limited to compounds, site accommodation, PPE and blanket orders.

What you're good at:

• Extensive experience in a similar role in the construction industry
