Consolidated Power Projects Australia is seeking a motivated finance professional to join our Finance team and work closely with Project Managers on a range of key projects. You will oversee all financial matters for your projects, providing analysis and direction to achieve financial goals.

Reporting to the Project Accounting Manager, you will ensure efficient reporting and accounting across a portfolio of projects, partnering with Project Managers and senior management to cost and report

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce (or similar) or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with key stakeholders.
• Experience in analysing financial data to assist project costs forecasting and assessing risks.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Proven ability in preparation of reports, working to tight monthly deadlines and supporting project delivery teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Familiarity with accounting and project costing software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial matters for projects, providing analysis and direction to achieve financial goals.
• Report to Project Accounting Manager; ensure efficient reporting and maintenance of finance functions for a portfolio of projects.
• Collaborate with accountants and project personnel to ensure costed and reported projects meet financial targets.
• Support senior management with financial reporting obligations and insights.
