Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) is seeking a motivated finance professional to join our Sydney-based team. You will work closely with Project Managers on a range of major projects, overseeing financial matters and providing clear analysis to drive profitability.

You will report to the Project Accounting Manager and collaborate with accountants and project staff to deliver accurate reporting, robust forecasting and timely insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) with finance focus.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in analyzing financial data for forecasting, risk assessment and cost control.
• Proven ability to prepare reports and meet tight monthly deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial matters for a portfolio of projects and provide analysis to meet financial goals.
• Partner with Project Managers to support financial reporting obligations and stakeholder needs.
• Report results to Senior Management and maintain robust accounting processes across multiple projects.
• Ensure cost reporting is accurate and projects are costed effectively for Australia’s renewable energy initiatives.
