Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects Australia (CPP) invites a Project Engineer to join our SA project delivery team in Adelaide. You will contribute across the full lifecycle of major HV infrastructure projects, including substations, switchyards and grid connections, with travel to sites as required.

Based in our Adelaide CBD head office, you will coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities, working closely with project managers, contractors and clients to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience delivering high-voltage electrical infrastructure, including substations or transmission works.
• Experience in construction or project delivery environments.
• Knowledge of EPC project delivery (design, procurement, construction, commissioning).
• Strong coordination, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work across office and project sites.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we are seeking a Project Engineer to join our South Australian project delivery team.

Based in Adelaide, you will play an important role in the delivery of major high-voltage infrastructure projects, including substations, switchyards and grid connections for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable energy projects.

Working alongside experienced Project Managers and site teams, you will be involved across the full project lifecycle, supporting engineering coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, quality, cost and schedule management, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

This is a hands‑on project delivery role with exposure across both office and site environments. You will work closely with engineering, construction, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with technical and contractual requirements.

The role provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your project delivery capability within a specialist high-voltage EPC contractor while contributing to some of Australia's most significant energy infrastructure projects.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-voltage electrical infrastructure, ideally including substations, switchyards or associated transmission infrastructure
• Experience working within construction or project delivery environments
• Working knowledge of EPC project delivery, including design, procurement, construction and commissioning
• Strong coordination, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• The ability to effectively manage priorities across multiple project activities
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with project teams, contractors, clients and other stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A willingness to work across both office and project site environments as required
