Job summary

BDAC is seeking a Program Manager to lead two teams delivering child safety and cultural support services for Aboriginal families. The role focuses on governance, program delivery and collaboration with external stakeholders.

The position requires strong leadership, budget oversight and knowledge of CYFA 2005. Travel and after-hours work may be required, with a commitment to culturally safe practice.

Qualifications

• Understanding of program management including budget, staffing and program development.
• Experience with supervising teams and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead two mutjang bupuwingarrak mukman teams to achieve best outcomes for children and families.
• Oversee Better Futures, Targeted Care Packages, Cultural Advisor and Aboriginal Family Led Decision Making programs.
• Monitor budgets, grant requirements and MOUs; ensure CYFA 2005 compliance and reporting.
