Job summary

BLACKROC Recruitment is seeking a senior Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of several complex, cross-functional projects supporting the integrity of a major Australian Government program. The role involves translating program objectives into roadmaps, backlogs and delivery schedules while managing dependencies, risks and government milestones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing cross-functional projects using Agile methodologies.
• Experience delivering across business areas, enabling services, external stakeholders and technology teams.
• Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills with senior leadership and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple cross-functional projects and workstreams.
• Translate program vision and objectives into practical roadmaps, backlogs and delivery schedules.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, resources and delivery milestones.
• Establish, prioritise and maintain project backlogs with delivery stakeholders.
• Apply Agile principles and practices to support iterative and incremental delivery.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Monitor delivery health, performance and outcomes, taking corrective action where required.
• Provide clear reporting and maintain transparency across senior stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Build effective working relationships across business areas, enabling services, technology teams and external stakeholders.
• Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day project delivery and stakeholder coordination.
