Job summary

TAL, Australia's leading life insurer, seeks a Senior Product Manager to shape product and pricing strategies across partnerships. The role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne and offers meaningful, impact‑driven work within the Group Life portfolio.

You’ll drive profitability, documentation, and stakeholder alignment to deliver strong member outcomes and compliant client partnerships, while exploring growth opportunities in a dynamic, digitally enabled insurance business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher in finance, commerce or business.
• Experience in product development or opportunity assessment in financial services.
• Understanding of life insurance products, terms and pricing.
• Strong analytical thinking for evidence-based decisions.
• Knowledge of compliance and relevant legislation.
• Ability to communicate clearly via technical documents and presentations.

Job Description

At TAL, our Group Life business helps protect millions of Australians by partnering with leading superannuation funds to deliver life insurance that is accessible, sustainable and relevant to members’ needs. In this role, you’ll help shape product and pricing outcomes that strengthen one of TAL’s most important partnerships and support the long‑term value we create for members. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

• Understand compliance and legislative requirements that shape good product outcomes.
• Communicate clearly through technical documentation, presentations and stakeholder discussions.
