Job summary

TAL Australia, a leading life insurer, invites applications for a governance-centric role within its Group Life & Retirement team in Australia. The position helps strengthen governance, assurance and operational excellence across partnerships, members and customers, with flexibility to base in Melbourne or Sydney.

The role emphasizes clear decision-making, proactive reviews and delivering sustainable governance uplift across the business, supporting TAL’s purpose and regulatory commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience in superannuation and/or Group Insurance, with understanding of how the two connect.
• Lead multiple projects or programs delivering business change and improved ways of working.
• Analytical thinking to identify opportunities, solve problems and support evidence-based decisions.
• Build strong relationships across teams, communicating clearly with stakeholders at different levels.
• Stay organised and adaptable in complex environments, balancing priorities while maintaining quality.
• Knowledge of CPS230 and CPS234 obligation will be highly regarded.

This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.

In This Role You Will
