Job summary

Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive complex product, risk, governance and customer outcomes within the Bank Guarantees team. You will shape the portfolio's direction, pursue strategic initiatives, and improve customer experience while strengthening controls.

You'll lead cross-functional collaboration across product, operations, technology, risk and frontline teams, influence stakeholders, and leverage AI and automation to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experienced Senior Product Manager in a complex product, risk and remediation environment.
• Experience leading complex product, operational, customer, risk or regulatory outcomes.
• Proven stakeholder influence and delivery across multiple teams.
• Led initiatives across multiple business units and navigated ambiguity.

In this opportunity, you'll join the Bank Guarantees team as a Senior Product Manager responsible for complex product, risk, governance and customer outcomes. You'll help shape the future direction of the portfolio while driving strategic initiatives that improve customer experience, reduce risk and strengthen operational performance.

You’ll bring proven Senior Product Manager experience and product leadership capability. While Bank Guarantees experience is not required, you'll be comfortable operating in a complex environment, influencing stakeholders and leading significant outcomes.

As part of the Bank Guarantees team, you'll help shape how emerging technologies and AI capabilities can be used to improve customer outcomes, simplify operations, strengthen controls and increase team effectiveness.

• Are currently operating as a Senior Product Manager or can demonstrate equivalent experience.
• Have experience leading complex product, operational, customer, risk or regulatory outcomes.
• Have a track record of successful stakeholder influence and delivery.
• Have led initiatives across multiple teams and business units.
• Have experience navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.
• Demonstrate strong customer, commercial and risk judgement.
• Can build trusted relationships and drive outcomes through influence.
• Have an interest in AI, automation and digital innovation and the role these tools can play in enhancing product management and delivery.
• Can identify opportunities to improve existing processes and challenge traditional ways of working.
• Are comfortable working across business and technology teams to deliver practical solutions.
• Think strategically about future-state operating models rather than simply optimising current processes.
• Bring a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience.
