Job summary

Sonder seeks a Senior Product Designer for a 12-month fixed-term engagement to lead the member experience design. You will take work from discovery through shipped product, collaborating daily with Product and Engineering, with a primary focus on mobile and a broader range across devices and platforms.

We value strong visual polish, full-stack product design experience, and a curious approach to AI tools that enhance the design process.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior or staff-level product design experience.
• Strong portfolio showing full-stack product design with mobile craft.
• Design system experience and ability to extend/build parts from the ground up.
• Genuine curiosity about AI tools and how they can sharpen your design process.
• Excellent design communication - presenting to engineers, leadership and other audiences.
• Comfortable moving between near-term ship-ready work and longer-range vision work.

Responsibilities

• Lead design across Sonder’s member experience from discovery through to shipped product.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering on day-to-day delivery.
• Focus on mobile while applying range across devices and platforms.
