Job summary

Dovetail is hiring a Senior Product Designer to focus on visual design, prototyping, usability testing, and evolving our design system. This is a full-time in-person role based at our Surry Hills HQ, Sydney, with an emphasis on attention to detail and high-quality design.

You will champion customer feedback, design intuitive product experiences, and collaborate across product, engineering, and GTM teams to ship high-impact features.

Qualifications

• Experience designing modern B2B cloud software, ideally in startups or fast-moving teams.
• Breadth across the design process, from discovery to detailed design.
• Comfortable visualising and prototyping concepts to communicate with stakeholders.
• Able to ship polished, high-quality design work.

Responsibilities

• Champion customer feedback in every decision and map customer journeys.
• Design simple, intuitive product experiences balancing user needs with business goals.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, GTM and other designers to ship features.
• Prototype and pair with engineers to ensure high standards in delivery.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system across the product.
