Job summary

Atom Resources, partnering with a major contractor delivering a nationally significant infrastructure project, is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager. You will oversee the procurement function, support project delivery teams, and align strategies, systems, and processes to project requirements.

Based in regional NSW, this leadership role offers a flexible roster (week on-site / week remote) and a remuneration package north of AUD 200k, DOE.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Procurement Manager or Senior Procurement Manager capacity.
• Strong construction and infrastructure project background.
• Thorough understanding of the construction project lifecycle.
• Experience leading procurement functions on large-scale infrastructure, utilities, energy or EPC projects.
• Strong SAP capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the procurement function across the project.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for major construction and infrastructure packages.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor engagement throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Drive procurement governance, reporting and compliance activities.
• Work closely with commercial, engineering and project delivery teams.
• Provide leadership and guidance to procurement personnel and project stakeholders.
• Ensure effective utilisation of SAP and procurement systems.
