Job summary

Network Steel on the Gold Coast is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to lead the procurement function in Queensland. You’ll oversee day-to-day procurement, stock control, and collaborate with various teams to meet customer expectations.

Reporting to the Group Head of Procurement, you’ll build strong supplier relationships, negotiate terms, drive cost savings, and ensure compliance with budgets and policies. Australian work rights required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of procurement experience.
• Experience in stock control and stock reports.
• Strong supplier relationship management and contract oversight.
• Proven ability in strategic sourcing and cost management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement function and stock control, including stock reports and stocktakes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to deliver timely results for customers.
• Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and oversee contracts with the group procurement team.
• Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business goals to deliver measurable cost savings.
• Monitor procurement KPIs, manage budgets, and ensure policy/compliance alignment.
