Job summary

Snowy Hydro is seeking a commercially minded Procurement Manager - Retail & Corporate to join the Strategic Procurement team in Sydney or Melbourne. You will lead planning, sourcing and delivery of strategic procurement across OPEX and corporate services, translating category strategies into actionable plans and driving value for money.

You will mentor a Procurement Specialist, build strong stakeholder partnerships, and ensure compliance with Snowy Hydro policies while delivering ongoing savings

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management within a corporate setting.
• Experience leading complex sourcing programs and supplier negotiations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Procurement, Law, Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear communication with senior teams.
• Operational/OPEX procurement experience across corporate services, facilities, or marketing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, RFQs, RFPs, and EOIs.
• Translate category strategies into project plans and drive savings.
• Manage contracts, variations, and risk with a governance framework.
• Provide direct leadership to a Procurement Specialist and mentor the team.
• Collaborate with production operations and corporate functions to improve processes.
