The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action VIC in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead end-to-end procurement activities across Bushfire and Forest Services.

You will manage RFQ, RFT and EOI processes, advise stakeholders and strengthen procurement governance while supervising two direct reports. This role offers a hybrid workplace in Altona North with emphasis on strategic sourcing and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Significant experience delivering end-to-end procurement in complex environments.
• Experience managing RFQ, RFT and EOI processes.
• Strong knowledge of Victorian Government procurement policies.
• Ability to develop procurement documentation, evaluation criteria and sourcing strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Experience supporting contract establishment and supplier management.
• Leadership capability to supervise and develop team members.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, customer service and operational excellence.
• Desirable: tertiary procurement qualification.
• Desirable: CIPS accreditation.
• Desirable: current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within Victoria.
