Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial negotiation with cost savings or improved terms.
• Solid understanding of NSW home building/construction industry, materials and trades.
• Expertise in tendering, supplier evaluation and contract management.
• Leadership experience in supervising or mentoring procurement staff.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to report to senior executives.
• Excellent financial literacy and proficiency with business software.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, and trade partners to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Review, renegotiate, and formalize expired supplier agreements across materials and services.
• Develop and implement a robust procurement strategy aligned with programs and growth targets.
• Collaborate with sales, design, pre-construction, and construction teams to ensure delivery alignment.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships within the NSW residential construction sector.
• Monitor market pricing, supply risks, and compliance with regulations and contracts.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the current Procurement Officer and delegate tasks.
• Provide reporting on performance metrics, cost savings, and supplier KPIs to leadership.
