Job summary

Prominent Hill, South Australia, seeks an experienced Processing Technician to operate crushing, grinding, flotation, filtering and tail dam activities in a copper‑gold operation. You will safely follow procedures to access plant areas for maintenance and support continuous improvement programs.

You will develop competency in plant processes, work with technical staff to achieve throughput targets, and contribute to asset integrity while upholding safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in minerals processing operations environment.
• Desirable experience with paste plant operations.
• Understanding of crushing and grinding circuits.
• Experience with tails dam operations and filtration.
• Strong safety leadership and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safety culture with site stakeholders and safety framework.
• Participate in Lean improvement programmes.
• Support development of a strong team culture on site.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for safe operations and asset integrity.
• Develop operational competency per onboarding framework.
• Work with technical staff to meet throughput, recovery and quality targets.
• Collaborate with mine, SOC and maintenance teams to maximise asset value.
• Take direction from shift leadership to perform tasks safely and competently.
