Job summary

MPC Solutions is seeking multiple experienced Process Technicians to join our valued gold mining client in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. As a Process Technician, you will monitor and maintain key processing equipment to maximise productivity and safety in a mineral processing plant.

Roster options include 8/6 7/7 FIFO from Perth or 2/2 FIFO from Perth. Pay is $68–$70 per hour plus super, with a temp role that may lead to permanent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3/4 years' experience as a Process Technician in Gold
• Strong understanding of mineral processing principles and equipment operation
• Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams, P&IDs and other technical documentation
• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain processing equipment and machinery including Crushers, Mills, CIL Circuits tailings, Elution circuit and more
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks
• Ensure all work is compliant with health, safety and environmental regulations
• Collect and analyse process data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members
• Contribute to development and implementation of standard operating procedure
