Job summary

South32 in Australia is seeking a Superintendent Processing Services to lead safe, stable and efficient processing operations. You will oversee ROM operations, water management, tailings and onsite power services, delivering governance across multiple facilities and managing contractor performance.

The role requires senior leadership experience in mining or mineral processing, with a focus on risk management, compliance with GISTM, and driving continuous improvement within a complex operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining or mineral processing environments.
• Knowledge of ROM operations, water systems or tailings facilities.
• Understanding of GISTM and risk management.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Govern contractor performance, service delivery and commercial obligations.
• Ensure TSF operations comply with GISTM, legislation and site standards.
• Support open cut transition plans, including mine-to-mill integration and future infrastructure.
• Drive operational excellence, cost control and continuous improvement across accountable areas.
