Job summary

InfraBuild Wire Mill in Geelong is seeking a senior operations engineer to oversee safety, quality and environmental performance on-site. You will drive ISO9001 quality, lead audits, manage budgets and technical initiatives to improve efficiency and innovation.

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will guide a small team and develop capability in a complex manufacturing setting. With extensive Australian manufacturing heritage, InfraBuild offers stability, hands-on engineering

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in process engineering and continuous improvement.
• Strong Lean/Six Sigma capabilities and quality management experience.
• Proven ability to lead safety, environmental and operational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and risk management with proactive culture and GOAL ZERO mindset.
• Oversee ISO14001 environmental compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain ISO9001 quality standards, lead audits and drive product quality.
• Manage budgets, costs and technical initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Lead a small team and drive capability development
