Job summary

Lycopodium Limited in Perth, WA, is seeking an experienced Principal Process Engineer to join the growing Process team. The role involves feasibility studies, detailed design, metallurgical testwork, flowsheet development, and cost estimation, with supervision of process engineers.

You will lead design efforts, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients across sectors. The position requires a strong engineering background, 15+ years in operations/commissioning and design, and willingness

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15+ years of combined operations/commissioning and engineering design experience.
• Experience in modeling and digitalization, and in hydrometallurgy (desirable).
• Experience in flotation, gold and/or copper, base metals or lithium processing.
• Intuitive leader capable of initiating and managing change in a complex environment.
• Willing to travel outside Australia on short-term assignments up to 6 weeks during commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop project reporting requirements to high accuracy per standards.
• Respond quickly to changes to meet schedule and scope.
• Lead process design functions across projects and teams.
• Deliver best-practice process designs within budget and time.
• Mentor engineers and foster professional development.
• Provide leadership and direction to the Process Engineering group.
