Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned engineer to provide technical input to mining process design and lead multidisciplinary projects in Queensland, Australia. The role involves developing plans, specifications, and executing scopes of work while guiding project teams and managing stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised engineering degree, 7+ years of professional experience, and familiarity with SYSCAD, hydrometallurgical processes, and brownfields minerals processing projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience.
• Recognised bachelor’s degree in engineering (in relevant discipline).
• Experience with SYSCAD.
• Demonstrated experience across multiple engineering phases.
• Demonstrated experience working on multi-discipline projects.
• Experience leading studies and project teams.
• Professional engineering registration in relevant legislated Australian state jurisdiction.
• Background in engineering consulting on small to medium projects (nice to have).
• Experience in hydrometallurgical processes (nice to have).
• Experience in copper, uranium, gold, aluminium and battery materials (nice to have).
