Job summary

The candidate will work remotely with potential travel, engaging with senior executives and Gartner clients to deliver actionable guidance and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in field or industry experience.
• 5+ years SaaS/software contract negotiations experience.
• Extensive, hands-on experience negotiating with Microsoft within the last 12 months.
• Subject-matter expertise in Microsoft licensing and the negotiation process.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (where applicable).

• Create innovative, thought-provoking content and insights for clients.
• Develop new insights and actionable approaches to client needs.
• Identify root causes and reframing strategies to drive progress.
• Demonstrate thought leadership across a team of analysts.
• Provide sales support and act as the voice of the market for Insights teams.
• Deliver high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Research, analyze, and forecast trends in software, SaaS, and cloud licensing.
• Collaborate with peers to ensure quality, timely content reviews.
