Job summary

Blackwoods in Sydney is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our pricing team. You will analyse pricing and profitability data, provide commercial insights, and partner with Sales, Category and Finance to drive better business outcomes.

This is a permanent, full-time role based at the Macquarie Park office. The role focuses on pricing advice for opportunities, analysing customer, product and pricing data to identify profitability and growth, and leading pricing projects to improve revenue,

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify commercial opportunities.
• Advanced Excel and large datasets experience with financial models or business analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence decision-making across the business.
• A tertiary qualification in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field, with proactive, adaptable learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing advice and commercial insights to support new and existing business opportunities.
• Analyse customer, product and pricing data to identify profitability and growth opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to influence commercial decisions and deliver pricing strategies.
• Support major customer contracts, tenders and negotiations to ensure sound outcomes.
• Lead pricing projects and initiatives that drive revenue growth, margin improvement and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement of pricing processes and tools to enhance data quality and scalable pricing.
