Enemix, a well-established energy business with a mixed portfolio of renewable, hybrid and conventional generation, is seeking a Principal Power Systems specialist to lead the in-house studies team, act as technical authority, and have a real say in how the team grows and how the assets perform.

You’ll lead grid connection, GPS and network compliance studies, steady-state and dynamic, own modelling tools and standards, and mentor engineers to build out the team’s capability.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering.
• 6+ years in power systems across utilities, generation or consultancy.
• Strong PSCAD, PSS/E, PowerFactory and ETAP experience.
• Track record delivering GPS and grid connection studies.
• Python for study automation.
• Microgrid or weak grid experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead grid connection, GPS and network compliance studies, steady-state and dynamic.
• Own modelling tools, methods and standards, and sign off study outputs.
• Build and validate models across platforms, including conversion and benchmarking.
• Tackle weak grid and low SCR issues with practical solutions.
• Mentor engineers and build out the team’s capability.
• Support bids with scope, estimates and technical input.
• Work directly with network operators, regulators, OEMs and clients.
