Job summary

SKL Technology in Sydney is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the design, development and delivery of high-quality enterprise applications with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Platform.

You will contribute to technical design decisions, implement robust backend services in C#/.NET, and collaborate in small multidisciplinary Agile delivery teams to ensure quality across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Platform.
• 5+ years full-stack development with C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL.
• Experience with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD and modern dev patterns.
• Strong communication and teamwork in Agile delivery teams.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the design, development and delivery of high-quality enterprise applications. The role requires strong Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform and full-stack development experience, along with the ability to provide technical leadership and work effectively within small multidisciplinary delivery teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing reliable and maintainable software, contributing to technical design decisions, applying established development patterns and supporting the quality and functionality of solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Platform.
• Develop customer-facing solutions using Power Pages.
• Develop backend services using C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL.
• Integrate front-end applications with APIs, databases and backend services.
• Develop integrations using Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Power Automate.
• Work within established application architectures, development patterns and reusable component frameworks.
• Use Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD pipelines across the development lifecycle.
• Write clean, maintainable and optimised code and contribute to overall software quality.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to other Software Engineers.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders within multidisciplinary Agile delivery teams.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to solution design and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years' experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Platform, including Power Pages.
• 5+ years full-stack development experience with C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL, including integration of front-end applications with backend services.
• Experience with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies including API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience working with established application architectures, development patterns and reusable components, including Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with demonstrated experience collaborating within multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Good to have

• Experience with AI and intelligent automation, including Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, generative AI and/or agent-based solutions.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure and/or AI.
