Job summary

Seers Digital in Canberra is seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Specialist to lead the design, development and delivery of secure, scalable government solutions. You will work on Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, building components that meet enterprise needs while aligning with architecture standards.

This role requires hands-on expertise, strong collaboration with stakeholders, and the ability to mentor colleagues.

Seers Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Specialist to support a major government client in Canberra.

Apply your Microsoft expertise to meaningful work while helping modernise enterprise business applications. You’ll design and deliver secure, scalable and reliable solutions, automate business processes and solve complex technical challenges alongside experienced specialists.

What You’ll Do

• Design and deliver solutions: Configure and develop Dynamics 365 applications, including Customer Service, alongside model-driven and canvas Power Apps, Power Automate workflows and Dataverse data and security models.
• Connect enterprise systems: Develop APIs, custom connectors and integrations across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure and other business systems.
• Maintain reliable platforms: Manage environments, monitor performance and availability, resolve complex incidents and defects, and deliver releases, upgrades and platform updates.
• Provide technical leadership: Guide solution architecture, design standards and engineering practices, and establish reusable components.
• Strengthen governance: Support environment strategy, Data Loss Prevention policies, connector governance and sustainable citizen development.
• Improve delivery practices: Implement application lifecycle management, source control, release management and CI/CD processes.
• Partner with stakeholders: Translate business needs into practical solutions, provide estimates and recommendations, and communicate technical risks clearly.
• Build team capability: Mentor colleagues, share knowledge and maintain technical documentation, solution designs and operational procedures.
• Meet organisational requirements: Ensure solutions align with security, privacy, accessibility, records management and architecture standards.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong hands-on experience configuring, customising and developing Dynamics 365, including Customer Service.
• Demonstrated expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse, including application design, automation, data modelling and security.
• Experience managing Power Platform environments and administering Dynamics 365 and Power Platform security.
• Strong enterprise integration skills using APIs, REST services and custom connectors.
• Experience with application lifecycle management, Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across application, integration and performance issues.
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
• Clear communication and technical documentation skills.

Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure API Management, Power BI, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Graph, Power Apps Component Framework (PCF), Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE), or Australian Government ICT environments would be beneficial.
