Job summary

Territory Generation in Darwin NT is seeking an Executive Contract Officer 1 to lead the maintenance teams at Channel Island and Weddell Power Stations, driving safe, reliable and sustainable power generation.

The role requires a tertiary engineering qualification with senior executive experience, strong strategic leadership, and proven ability to plan and coordinate major outages, asset management and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering with senior executive experience.
• Experience leading power station maintenance for reliable, sustainable power generation.
• Strong strategic leadership and resource management in high-pressure environments.
• Experience with asset management planning and maintenance systems such as CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to maintenance teams and contribute to regional leadership delivery.
• Ensure maintenance planning and scheduling supports optimal plant availability.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams and contractors to plan major works and outages.
• Develop and implement policies and maintenance programs for availability and reliability.
• Prepare contingency and succession plans and coach teams for improvements.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and project a positive company image.
• Maintain a positive HSE culture and meet safety KPIs per policy.
• Model Territory Generation values and Code of Conduct.
• Carry out duties in line with safety, environmental and quality policies.
