Job summary
APA Group is seeking a Senior Engineer - Power in Perth, WA to lead complex power engineering projects and deliver high-quality electrical solutions for HV transmission and substations. You will provide technical leadership, collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and drive innovation in engineering practices.
The role requires tertiary electrical engineering qualifications with experience in primary power systems, strong design knowledge and proven project leadership abilities.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering with experience in power engineering.
- Experience in primary electrical engineering and HV transmission systems including substations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and Australian standards.
- Ability to lead complex projects and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex power engineering projects focusing on primary electrical systems and HV transmission.
- Provide specialist technical expertise in design, development and implementation of primary electrical solutions.
- Conduct technical reviews and assessments to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective transmission solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement and mentor junior engineers in engineering practices.
