Job summary

APA Group in Perth is seeking a Head of Power Engineering Solutions to lead the Power Engineering Solutions capability within the Infrastructure Delivery team. You will set strategic direction for technical excellence, oversee design development, governance and contracts, and drive delivery across generation, grid connections and energy projects.

Significant experience in power generation, power systems, or grid connections.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and build capability.
Strong governance, technical design, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow APA’s Power Engineering Solutions capability and set strategic direction.
Own governance, assurance and technical standards for the portfolio.
Provide senior technical leadership across project development and delivery; negotiate key design and construction contracts.
Lead grid connection strategy and negotiations with regulators and network operators.
Collaborate across development, delivery, procurement and operations to deliver commercial outcomes.
