Job summary

APA Group in Perth, WA seeks a Senior Engineer - Power to join the Infrastructure Delivery – Infrastructure Engineering team on a permanent full-time basis. You will deliver complex power engineering solutions, providing specialist expertise, and drive innovation with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

You will lead primary electrical systems and HV transmission projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with Australian standards.

Qualifications

Electrical engineering degree with significant power engineering experience.
Experience in primary electrical engineering and HV transmission including substations.
Strong knowledge of primary plant equipment, electrical design principles, transmission networks and Australian standards.
Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver complex power engineering projects focused on primary electrical systems and HV transmission.
Provide specialist technical design and development of primary electrical solutions.
Conduct technical reviews and problem-solving to deliver safe, reliable transmission solutions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement and mentor junior engineers.
