Job summary

The Reserve Bank of Australia in Bella Vista is seeking a seasoned PMO/Portfolio Manager to support governance, reporting and delivery across a large program. You will help plan, schedule, manage dependencies and coordinate delivery, while producing dashboards and management information for stakeholders.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, monitor risks and issues, drive continuous improvement, and embed program management standards to ensure high-quality outcomes for Australia’s

Qualifications

  • Extensive PMO/portfolio management experience in large programs.
  • Experience supporting governance, reporting, planning, and project controls.
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support portfolio management, governance and reporting activities across the program.
  • Prepare and manage reporting outputs, dashboards, presentations and management information.
  • Support governance forums through agenda preparation, action management, decision tracking and follow-up activities.
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, dependency management and delivery coordination activities.
  • Support financial management, forecasting, resource planning and capacity reporting activities.
  • Contribute to contract management, procurement reporting and vendor performance monitoring activities where required.
  • Support agile delivery teams through facilitation, coordination and continuous improvement practices where required.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify issues, risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the implementation and embedment of program management standards, controls and processes.

About the role
  • Support portfolio management, governance and reporting activities across the program.

  • Strong PMO and portfolio management experience gained within large and complex programs.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting governance, reporting, planning, project controls or program delivery functions.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and contribute to high-performing teams.
  • Comfortable working across a broad range of portfolio, governance, reporting and delivery support activities.
