The Victorian Department of Health is seeking a Senior Policy Officer, Governance and Insight to support timely reporting of system achievements and drive data improvement across planned care, including metric development and policy work to monitor endoscopy activity. You will work with the Manager to coordinate cross-portfolio governance and provide high-quality policy advice based on rigorous research and analysis.

About the role:The Senior Policy Officer, Governance and Insight, will support the timely and accurate reporting of system achievements, as well as undertaking special projects that improve data availability and system intelligence across planned care. These projects include data improvement, such as development of new and updated system metrics, policy development, such as work to support improved understanding and monitoring of endoscopy activity.Demonstrating relevant experience and expertise in tracking key program elements such as funding and delivery, supporting key department committees that provide oversight, and ensuring that reporting, and underlying data systems accurately monitor and reflect progress of the Program, this role will provide the opportunity to deliver program objectives in a timely manner.About us:At the Victorian Department of Health we want a future where Victorians are the healthiest people in the world.
