Job summary

Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group in Perth is seeking an experienced Policy Officer to join our corporate team. This full-time role focuses on developing and updating policies for Aged Care, NDIS, Supported Independent Living and Corporate operations.

You’ll manage the policy system, meet with clinical leaders, and ensure policies meet compliance and operational needs. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in public policy or related field, strong writing and communication skills, and

Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is a family-owned aged care provider operating 42 residential aged care homes, with in-home and community care programs in WA, QLD, ACT and NSW. We are seeking an experienced Policy Officer to join our growing team on a full-time basis, based at our corporate office in West Perth.

About the role

This varied and dynamic opportunity will see you support our Aged Care, NDIS, Supported Independent Living and Corporate operations. You’ll work in a small, dedicated team to manage our corporate and clinical policy system, regularly meeting with clinical leaders to create and update policies that meet compliance requirements and align with operational needs. You’ll also own the document management process, maintaining a review schedule for all our existing policies, and ensuring that new policies are accessible.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree of experience in a relevant field (public policy, public health or similar)
• Knowledge of the aged care sector and strengthened quality standards
• Highly developed communication and writing skills, with excellent attention to detail and an ability to build relationships with clinical managers
• National Police Certificate (within past 6 months), full Australian working rights, and a current Influenza vaccination
