Job summary

Marsh in Melbourne (and Sydney) seeks a Senior PMO Manager to lead the PMO capability for the Mercer Super Change & Transformation group. Hybrid role requiring three days in the office weekly, with a focus on delivering governance, reporting and operating rhythms that enable reliable delivery across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in PMO, portfolio, program or transformation delivery.
• Experience establishing or improving PMO operating models, governance, standards and reporting disciplines.
• Strong understanding of project and program planning, RAID, dependency management, financials, benefits and capacity planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set the PMO service model, priorities, ways of working and allocation of work across the PMO team.
• Coach and develop PMO analysts, with clear ownership, quality expectations and escalation paths.
• Maintain portfolio governance forums, decision rights, escalation paths, stage gates and minimum information requirements.
• Own portfolio reporting and insights, including RAG status, milestones, spend, benefits, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Establish consistent approaches to integrated planning, milestone tracking, critical path visibility, baseline management and change control.
• Partner with delivery leaders and stakeholders to improve reporting quality, assurance, risk in change practices and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
