Job summary

Embedded Expertise is seeking an experienced PMCS Engineer to lead the controls and automation efforts on a major tunnel infrastructure project in Sydney. You will oversee engineering, integration, testing and commissioning of PMCS, working closely with construction, electrical, mechanical, systems and commissioning teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive PMCS experience, strong design and coordination skills, and a track record of delivering complex projects.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in PMCS engineering.
• Strong understanding of design, construction, testing and commissioning processes.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical disciplines and interfaces.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CPEng/RPEQ or equivalent advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and technical delivery of PMCS.
• Provide technical leadership to PMCS engineers and system integrators.
• Manage PMCS design, installation, integration, testing and commissioning.
• Review PLC, SCADA, HMI and control system designs.
• Coordinate PMCS integration with project systems.
• Review I/O schedules, instrument lists, and control logic.
• Provide input into PLC/SCADA programming.
• Support FAT, SAT, and handover activities.
