Embedded Expertise seeks an experienced PMCS Engineer for a senior leadership role on a major tunnel infrastructure project in Sydney. You will guide engineering teams and coordinate PMCS design, development, installation, and commissioning with electrical, mechanical, and systems groups.

The role emphasizes strong technical leadership, system integration expertise, and effective stakeholder communication to ensure seamless project delivery.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in PMCS engineering.
• Strong understanding of engineering design, construction, testing and commissioning processes.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical disciplines and project interfaces.
• Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in the engineering and technical delivery of the PMCS.
• Provide technical leadership to PMCS engineers, technicians, contractors and system integrators.
• Manage PMCS design, development, installation, integration, testing and commissioning activities.
• Review PLC, SCADA, HMI and control system designs and documentation.
• Coordinate the integration of PMCS with mechanical, electrical, tunnel, ventilation, fire/life safety and other project systems.
• Manage interfaces between PMCS, PLC/SCADA systems, instrumentation, electrical systems and communications networks.
• Review and manage I/O schedules, instrument lists, cause-and-effect documentation, control logic and functional specifications.
• Provide technical input into PLC/SCADA programming and system configuration.
• Support FAT, SAT, integrated systems testing, commissioning and handover.
