Inner West Council is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of major capital projects, guiding them from feasibility through to handover. You will supervise consultants and contractors, manage budgets, risks and timelines, and align projects with community expectations.

This temporary appointment supports an expanding Major Projects portfolio and involves cross‑functional collaboration, quality delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives within a flexible work

Competenze

• Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Building or related field with project management units.
• Significant experience delivering projects on time, within budget and meeting quality standards.
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence.
• Construction industry white card.

Mansioni

• Deliver major capital projects with strong focus on quality, time, and budget.
• Lead planning, design, approvals, procurement and contract management.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure WHS and legislative compliance.
• Engage stakeholders and community groups to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
• Manage risks, variations, delays and reporting across all project phases.
• Support strategic planning and prioritisation of future projects.
• Monitor team performance and project budgets.
• Foster continuous improvement and digital capability across the team.
