Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex business and technology initiatives within the Insurance Software and BPS division in Sydney. You will oversee end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring on-time, on-budget and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in senior PM roles, experience in insurance/regulated industries, and strong leadership with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

8+ years in senior project management roles delivering large-scale transformation, technology, regulatory, or compliance projects.
Experience within insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries (desirable).
PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification (desirable).
Agile/SAFe certification or experience with hybrid delivery methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects from initiation through closure, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and quality outcomes.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations across multiple workstreams.
Apply structured governance frameworks including stage gates, steering committees, and reporting cadences.
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and actuals, providing regular financial reporting to senior leadership.
Build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders, vendors, and distributed teams; prepare status updates and board papers.
Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; drive improvements and lessons learned.
