Job summary

Harvey Norman is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive delivery of a major eCommerce platform program from our Homebush West head office. You will lead projects to scope, budget and schedule, engaging stakeholders across IT, product and external vendors to ensure on-time outcomes.

The role requires a track record of delivering complex retail technology initiatives, including vendor management, risk and issue governance, and steering committee facilitation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a structured project delivery environment with knowledge of lifecycles and product implementation methodologies (waterfall/agile/hybrid).
• Solid understanding of website development lifecycles and operations including analytics, performance, and customer support.
• Proven track record delivering key business and technology projects on time and within budget in medium to large organisations.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex projects with multiple work streams and competing deadlines.
• Experience in issue and risk management, formal status reporting and Steering Committee facilitation.
• Attention to detail with ability to estimate budgets and track expenditures.
• Ability to partner effectively with the business to ensure outcomes meet requirements.
• Knowledge of procurement processes (RFP/RFQ).
• Proven experience in working with external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Act as the strategic liaison, aligning business, IT, various technology work streams, and external suppliers.
• Provide comprehensive resource and budget plans to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Manage schedules, risks and issues using standard project management tools.
• Provide project updates and reports at regular intervals.
• Lead monthly steering committee meetings with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
• Manage communication with stakeholders at all levels and facilitate workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create business cases required to deliver the recommended solutions.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
