Job summary

ROUSSOS Recruitment partners with an award-winning national contractor to appoint a Project Manager to its South Australian team. The role oversees commercial construction projects typically valued between $5M and $30M+, taking ownership from planning through to handover.

You will report to the State Manager, supported by a project team including a Site Manager, Contract Administrator and Project Coordinator, delivering quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects in Adelaide.
• Experience managing projects valued from $5M across multiple sectors.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, programming, procurement and cost management.
• Experience with contracts administration and project financials.
• Confident leadership and ability to coordinate project teams.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from pre-construction to handover.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Oversee programmes, budgets, procurement and construction methods.
• Monitor quality, commercial performance and milestones.
• Identify risks and implement solutions to keep delivery on track.
• Ensure compliance with building legislation, safety and quality standards.
• Lead meetings and maintain clear stakeholder communication.
• Motivate project team members to achieve high-quality outcomes.
