Job summary

CNFiTech Engineering is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, test, commission, and support PLC and SCADA systems for major utility and industrial projects. You will work on-site, coordinating with electrical, mechanical, and process engineers to ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years designing, building, testing, and commissioning PLC/SCADA systems on industrial and utility projects.
• Experience delivering projects from design through commissioning and handover.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control system schematics.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, mechanical, and process engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, test, commission, and support PLC and SCADA systems.
• Manage automation and control projects from design through to commissioning and handover.
• Develop control system designs, specifications, requirements, and technical documentation.
• Analyse plant performance to identify automation, reliability, and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, and site activities.
• Provide technical leadership and support project delivery from concept through to operation.
