Job summary

Saunders Automation, a specialist electrical and control systems engineering company, seeks a Control Systems Engineer to join the Perth team. You will design, develop and program control systems across PLC, HMI and SCADA platforms and contribute to full project delivery from concept to client handover.

The role covers remote and onsite support across various industries, with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent.
Hands-on experience programming industrial control systems.
White/Blue Card (Construction WHS Induction).
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and program control systems across PLC, HMI and SCADA platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric, Emerson and others).
Deliver functional design specs, control philosophy documentation and OT network design.
Execute FAT, SAT and commissioning plans.
Provide technical support and mentoring to the wider team.
Manage work to Australian Standards and company procedures.
