Job summary

Xestro Pty Ltd is based in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast and is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to operate and improve production infrastructure for a healthcare SaaS platform used daily in clinics.

You will join the Platform team, work hands-on with Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Terraform and deployment pipelines, and help support a live production system with incident response and automation responsibilities.

Qualifications

5+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE or related role.
Hands-on experience running and troubleshooting Kubernetes in production (AWS EKS).
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
Practical AWS experience: VPCs, IAM, EC2, DNS and networking.
Experience with Terraform and CI/CD deployments.
Ability to investigate incidents using metrics, logs and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Operate production clusters and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
Manage upgrades, monitor performance and capacity, and improve automation.
Support deployment pipelines and Temporal workers behind background processing workflows.
Collaborate with platform and security teams; participate in on‑call rotations.
Document runbooks and improve reliability and incident response practices.
