Job summary

Core Talent are working with a leading utilities and infrastructure contractor who are continuing to grow their presence across Western Australia. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join a growing project delivery team supporting a major network contract.

This is a hands-on planning role where you'll play an important part in making sure projects are properly planned, resourced and ready for delivery.

Qualifications

• Experienced planner in a complex operational environment.
• Background in utilities, infrastructure, civil construction, maintenance, or large projects.
• Strong scheduling and forecasting capability; experience with planning and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining project schedules and forecasts.
• Coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractor requirements.
• Managing permits, approvals and planning requirements.
• Working with operational teams to maximise crew utilisation.
• Monitoring progress and identifying potential scheduling issues before they impact delivery.
• Supporting and mentoring Planning Coordinators.
• Working closely with Project Managers and Supervisors to keep projects moving.
• Identifying opportunities to improve planning processes and project delivery.
