Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to develop tender-stage master programmes and construction sequencing for major solar, wind, battery storage and HV infrastructure bids in Australia. The role is based in Sydney with options for Melbourne or Brisbane offices and flexible-working support.

You will create resource-loaded schedules in Primavera P6, perform risk and critical path analysis, integrate long-lead equipment, and establish baselines and

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• At least seven years as a senior or lead planner with a Tier 1/2 contractor or EPC business on major renewable energy or infrastructure projects above $100 million.
• Advanced Primavera P6, MS Project and schedule-risk tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran or Deltek Acumen.
• Detailed understanding of solar installation, BESS, wind turbine erection, HV substations and AEMO grid-connection hold points.

Responsibilities

• Create resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules from front-end engineering through commissioning.
• Develop 4D sequencing, time-location diagrams, logistics plans and tender milestones.
• Perform quantitative schedule risk, critical-path and sensitivity analysis to inform bid contingencies.
• Integrate long-lead equipment and grid commissioning hold points into programmes.
• Establish execution baselines, S-curves, productivity benchmarks and earned-value frameworks for delivery handover.
